Lawn, Stone Pathway & Arbor for Lovely Outdoor Ceremonies
Say your “I do’s” under a gorgeous wood arbor, surrounded by lush shrubbery & bright flowers! The elegant steps & perfectly manicured lawn make a for a dramatic wedding party entrance and a beautiful walk down the aisle.

Elegant Ballroom
The Colonial Hotel Ballroom is steeped in upscale elegance & classic beauty. The unique gold chandeliers make a bold statement and add sophistication to this stunning ballroom. This space can comfortably accommodate up to 400 guests.
Courtyard Tent
Available from May-October, this fully-covered, heated tent is the ideal space for a smaller outdoor reception. Complete with a full bar, elegant ceiling drapery, twinkle lights, and plenty of natural sunlight pouring through beautiful French-style windows, the Courtyard Tent is just as accommodating as it is beautiful. There is also a full bar setup inside the tent; for larger weddings like Steph & Phil’s, it serves as the perfect space for cocktail hour.
The Colonial Hotel is a versatile venue that can be custom-suited to fit the unique flow of your wedding day. Steph & Phil used the Courtyard Tent not only for cocktail hour, but also as a space to display fun decor & little personalized touches – some of which the hotel’s wonderful event staff provided for them, to their surprise & delight! The extra time & effort the Colonial Hotel team put into decorating the space just goes to show how committed they are to making your wedding extra special.

Grand Staircase
The hotel’s magnificent and unique Grand Staircase is the perfect spot to have some fun posing with your wedding party! With two intersecting sets of stairs leading to a center landing, it’s actually almost as if that’s what this staircase was made for. The dynamic design of the Grand Staircase also makes it an ideal spot for a romantic, memorable first look.
Hotel Facade
The elegant stone arches right outside the hotel’s main entrance serve as a beautiful, simple backdrop for formal portraits. This is also a large enough area to gather your wedding party & family members for wide group portraits.
Stone Steps
The stone steps leading over to the venue’s ceremony area are great for action shots – walking hand-in-hand with your new spouse, twirling and showing off every detail of that stunning dress, and the like. And with the lovely landscaping surrounding the stairs, this area has an almost fantasy-esque, magical forest vibe – especially once the sun sets and the lights turn on.
